DAIWA 23 BG OFFSHORE PILK - 3.00m/50-165gr
Matching with the BG reel series, DAIWA offers a comprehensive series of sea fishing rods for fishing in Norway, the Baltic Sea and the tropics. The lineup of the BG series features rods for fishing for cod, coalfish and halibut with natural baits but comprises also models for surface fishing for Mahi Mahi and GT with stickbait and poppers. Also rods for jigging for Amberjack or deep sea fishing for Redfish belong to the BG range. Of course, this range also offers travel rods with short sections for the most common sea fishing methods, especially for Norway. The robust HMC+ blank is equipped with saltwater-proof titanium oxide guides, DPS-H or DPS reel seat with safety screw and a durable EVA handle. Jigging rod
With the Sealine Pilk rods DAIWA offers a large range of highly modern sea fishing rods for fishing in the Baltic Sea and the North Sea as well as in Norway.
Made of high-modulus carbon fiber these rods are equipped with innovative components and feature a great handling experience. The X-pattern shrinktube handle section cares for a perfect grip and can be easily cleaned if required. The EVA upper handle section has been choosen somewhat shorter and is directly mounted to the blank via a shrink tube. This arrangement allows optimal control during the fight with large sea predators. The tip action of the Sealine rods absorb headbutts and flights of hooked fishes perfectly while the stiff backbone offers enough power to control also large specimen during the fight.
The reel seat from the Seaguide Alien concept is especially pleasant to grab due to its broad and closed shape and allows fatigue-free fishing for a long time. The saltwater-resistant Seaguide guides with Zirconia inlays easily withstand the extreme conditions at sea fishing and allow the use of both fixed spool and multiplier reels.
