The Gamakatsu A1 Super Hook is the flagship hook of Gamakatsu. Its name suggests nothing else: for many years a large part of the carp fishing community in Europe has sworn by these ‘super’ hooks! The Super Hook falls under the A1 segment of Gamakatsu. This means that the hooks are pressed into their shape. This not only makes them 20% harder and 25% stronger, but also the point is unprecedentedly sharp. The hooks all have a flat shape rather than a round one. Extensive research has shown that this ‘flat forged’ shape is many times stronger than the old-fashioned round shape. The hook has a straight hook shank with a slightly inwardly bent hook point. Produced after listening to customers who wanted their products to be more buoyant, Spomb have released these Spomb Floats. Each float pack contains 2 floats, a black/white float and a high vis red float. Both floats have a hole ready cut to the correct diameter that fits perfectly onto the tail of all of the Spombs - mini, midi or large sizes.
