These numbers show how an accurate pattern is compared, but are not a common characteristic for any reel in the subject.

The cord class must fall within the acceptable range of the reel and match the rod. It is then checked that the spool accommodates the required backing and the entire cord without over-stamping. Weight is estimated on a assembled fishing rod. The 130 g reel can balance one set well and another inconvenient according to the length, handle and reel holder. Grab the fishing pole in a normal position and see if the wrist compensates for a steady tilt. A lighter does not always mean a better balance, as a wider spool does not automatically mean more suitable capacity.

The ratchet mechanism gives sound and mechanical resistance, but the characteristics of the particular model must be distinguished from a reel with an adjustable drag. Check the direction of the coil, the possibility of changing the arm and the secure fixation of the spool. Quick release is only useful for a backup line if the spool locks without a loop after each shift.

Roll up the backing and cord evenly, with clean connections and no twisting. Before taking off, inspect the edge of the spool for injuries that could damage the line. After fishing, remove the free moisture, rinse the used in contaminated or salt water according to the instruction and dry. Do not lubricate arbitrarily closed mechanism; maintenance follows the directions of the particular reel. In a spare spool, record the class and type of the coiled cord. This way you won't confuse two visually similar lines by the water.
