Spinning with silicone and hybrid lures allows to change the profile, depth and tempo without replacing the entire tackle. Fish-like bodies are convenient for classical conduction and drop, while the worm or crab give another geometry in slow operation. The variant should be chosen according to the size of the hook and the freedom that remains on the soft body. The larger end of the choice is Hybrid lure DAIWA PROREX HYBRID SWIMBAIT 250SF. The model is 25 cm and 125 g, moves with slight side deviations and resembles injured fish. Rainbow Trout and perch variants are available, as well as replacement bodies in the same two variants, which is important when replacing the body used.

The weight of 125 g requires checking the allowable bait for the rod, the strength of the line and the reliability of the connection. Do not put such a swimbait on a kit provided for a lightweight jig. In small silicone lures, the logic is the opposite: the head should not overload the tip and take away the sensitivity on contact.

In a shallow section, start with a configuration that holds over obstacles, and in deep water add weight only until you regain control. For bass baits, a distinct pause is often useful, but its length is determined by the rate of fall. If the body is rotating on its axis, check the striation before changing color.

After fishing, clean the lures, dry the hooks, and examine the soft parts around the gripping sites. Keep the spare body without folding, so as not to deform its profile. Before the next outing, test the rig to shore: The properly arranged set starts steadily at the first revs and keeps the selected layer without unnecessary acceleration.
