Carbon fishing line Materials

The carbon fishing line materials used have the greatest impact on the quality of the fishing rods. We at DAIWA, constantly strive to improve the carbon fishing line content and reduce the percentage of resins. We are faithful to the slogan: more muscle, less fat. This is our way of continually improving the fishing rods we construct!

Super SVF® Carbon FiberDaiwa технологии за въдици

The resin content of this exclusive material of DAIWA has been reduced to a minimum. The production and processing of Super SVF requires the latest machinery and is a complex as well as expensive process. Therefore, this material is only used for some of our top products. The fishing rods made by Super SVF carbon are extremely light and fast. The forms instantly move to the starting position after casting and therefore allow extremely accurate and long castings.

SVF® Carbon Fiber

Due to the further reduced proportion of resin in the SVF, the rods produced are even more sensitive and lighter than the HVF models. SVF carbon fishing line forms are extremely fast and instantly transmit contact with the bottom or fish and show perfect action. The torque after casting is almost completely eliminated contributing to more precise castings. SVF carbon rod is also exclusively processed in the DAIWA. fishing rod factories

HVF® Carbon FiberDaiwa технологии за въдици

This premium high-end material „High Volume Fiber“ was developed by DAIWA and is exclusively processed in our own factories. Very thin carbon fishing lines allow the production of extremely compact letterheads with low resin content. The rods produced are extremely light, with fast action and better balance than rods from conventional letterheads.

HMC+® Carbon Fiber

The fishing rod forms from „High Modulus Carbon +“ are made of high-module carbon rod with increased density. As a result, HMC+ contains a reduced amount of resin compared to conventional lower-grade carbon fishing line blanks. Therefore, HMC+ represents a level of quality before exclusive HVF carbon fishing line. The rods made of this exquisite carbon are faster, lighter and better balanced than the rods made of standard materials with a high resin content or composite blanks mixed from carbon and glass fishing line.

HVF® NanoplusDaiwa технологии за въдици

In our Nanoplus technology, the resin material is first enriched with a nanoalloy compound and then used to bond the carbon fishing lines, allowing the design of very light and strong letterheads.

AGS®– Air Guide SystemDaiwa технологии за въдици

With the AGS (AGS Air Guide system) guides, the DAIWA presents a new era in rod production. AGS guides have a carbon fishing line frame and are therefore significantly lighter, such as the Fuji Titanium guides, which were by far some of the lightest in the world. Reduced weight optimizes the action of the fishing rod, it is significantly faster and more sensitive. In addition, the use of carbon fishing line frame guides reduces vibration in guides during cast, and the forms are even more precise. Whoever takes a fishing rod with AGS guides in hand will immediately realize the dramatic difference to conventional fishing rods and their behavior.

  • Thanks to the AGS, the tip returns to its original position faster.
  • Compared to conventional guides, the use of AGS guides results in

weight saving up to 40%. This implies less tension for the blank and leads to clearly improved resistance.

  • The frame structure reduces the risk of entanglement. Especially in crosswinds and the use of braided fishing lines is the threat of losing lures due to entanglement of the guides.
  • Carbon and titanium hardness comparison: Carbon is approximately 3 times harder than titanium and is therefore the ideal material for construction the carbon frames of the AGS guide maintain the sensitivity of the form like no other material.

3DX® – 3D CrossDaiwa технологии за въдици

Unlike conventional carbon fishing line, where the fabric structure is always two-dimensionally oriented, with 3DX 3D-Cross DAIWA developed a three-dimensional carbon fishing line material. The woven 3DX carbon fishing lines are integrated into the billet during production. This "skeleton" improves compression, improves bending strength, and the blank recovers extremely quickly after casting.
