The weights section covers one or two cut pellets, olives, soft lead, probes and bottom shapes with swivel. Also separated are models type „Influenza“ and „Hexagram“. The choice determines how the rig is cast, sunk and held, so the weight and shape must follow the current, depth, distance and manner of presentation of the bait.

The pellets are suitable for distributing the aggravation along the line, the number and distance between them changing the failure of the rig. The olive concentrates the base mass at one point, and the soft lead allows fine correction. The probe serves in determining depth. Choose between these decisions according to the float and the desired behavior, not as a mechanical replacement with each other.

For carp and bottom fishing Lead type hexogram with swivel (brown color) is found in variants of 70, 80, 100, 110 and 120 grams. The hexagonal shape limits rolling in current and assists in holding onto the bottom. The swivel provides a point for secure connection to the rig without the need for improvised attachment of the lead itself.

Select the weight within the tolerance for the rod and rig. The heavier option is not automatically more accurate: if it exceeds the working range of the stick, the cast loses control. Too slight aggravation can also move along the bottom. Check the total mass of all elements, not just the number on the base lead.

In strong currents, the profile and contact area are more important than in calm water. On a soft bottom, monitor whether the rig does not sink excessively, while on a sloping or hard section, limit unwanted slip. For a float, distribute the pellets so that you get the desired drop without disturbing the load-bearing and line sensitivity.

Before tying, inspect the swivel, cuts and surface of each element. An acute edge or deformed connection can damage the line when loaded. Do not press pellets with an instrument that leaves rough edges, and do not mix arbitrary weights without checking the float. After fishing, put the aggravations in size and appearance to put together the next rig without guesswork.

Before you specify the rig, you can return to All products and review neighboring groups according to the intended fishing. If you're pointing the tackle at a carp line, compare Carp fishing weights, then check Ready-made rigs and accessories on the relationship between gravity and the other elements.
