This section collects the small but specific helpers for carp and bottom fishing: scales, fuses, markers, handles, magnifying glasses, winding tools, shuttles, spools and spools. They do not perform a common task. Some serve in measurement, others in marking or arranging, so it is reasonable to choose according to the real organization of the tackle.

Scale AVID Digital Scales – 60KG/132LB measures up to 60 kg or 132 lb and features a illuminated LCD display with dual protection against water ingress. Its metal handles are collapsible, and functions include reset and weight retention. The power supply is with one 9V battery, which is not included in the kit.

For sequential measurements, first pin the empty media you will weigh with and reset the reading. Only then add the fish, keep the scales steady and wait for the value before using the hold. Do not lift through the housing or display; folding metal handles are the intended support for the hands. Measure low over a safe surface to limit the consequences of accidental discharge.

The marker makes sense when you need to mark a selected position, and shuttles, turn-screws and spools help separate fishing lines or ready-made rigs stay separated. The winder tool is only useful if it fits what you're organizing. On handles and safety guards, check the compatibility with the specific piece of equipment still at home.

A magnifying glass is an aid in detailed work, but does not replace good lighting and a stable surface. For a night session, the illuminated scale screen makes it easy to read without changing the measurement itself. Sort the accessories by time of use: the means of marking elsewhere, and the measuring equipment so that it is reached quickly.

Before an outing, test the battery and reset function instead of detecting a problem after the catch. After use, wipe the moisture, fold the handles and store the appliance without pressure on the display. If you won't be using it for long, pull out the 9V battery. Keep contacts clean and don't leave a discharged power source inside. The rest of the small items are checked for deformities and returned to their designated compartments.

In the case of small items, proceed from the particular rig and proceed to Carp fishing hookswhen you get to the hook selection. For a guide outside the carp theme see Useful accessories for sea fishing, and the connection to the rest of the bottom fishing equipment found in the section Accessories for carp and bottom fishing before you finish the preparations your way.
