Kolpo is an Italian brand for fishing rods, reels and accessories for marine and freshwater fishing. Official scope includes feeder, eging, surfcasting, bolognese, spinning, carp, trout area, trolling and MATCH techniques. This width requires selection by environment and method: The same inscription on the tackle does not make two models interchangeable.

For the sea, specify whether you will be fishing from a beach, cliffs, port or boat. The Surfcasting rod operates with heavy rig and distance, the eging model has to manage the calmark, and the boat tackle takes on vertical load. The length, test, handle and guides follow these differences. Tracks and transport size because the long section can be a crucial limitation.

In fresh water, start from the bait table or the full feeder. Spinning rod for light baits does not replace feeder, even if the numbers partially overlap. In bolognese and MATCH fishing, the balance and control of the line are leading, while the carp set looks for stock when casting and pulling. Compare lineup and real-world application, not just maximum casting weight.

The reel is selected along with the fishing rod. The spool capacity, gear ratio, drag and protection of the mechanism must meet the medium. For sea, check the maintenance and rinse instructions; salt is not removed by retracting it into a damp case. In long-distance castings, monitor the even alignment of the fishing line, and in active spinning, avoid an unnecessarily heavy set.

The lure, the leader and the terminal connections complete the system. In the eging, the size and sinking of the squid are considered with depth and current. In feeder, the feeder must stand steady without overloading the tip. In spinning, choose an leader according to the abrasion and predator. Do a test of the nodes and the drag before you start looking for distance. In strong currents, leave an additional stock in the whole set.

For marine configuration compare Sea Rods and Reels for sea fishing. For freshwater direction compare Spinning Rods, Feeder Rods and Float Rods; Thus, the choice remains tied to the technique, not the general brand name.
