SHIZUKA is a line of Lineaeffe, including reels with a front drag and several types of fishing rods. The SK5, SK8 and SK13 reels differ in size, capacity, drag, weight and transmission number. At the fishing rods there is a direct telescope, spinning and marine models. This imposes a choice in technique and parameters, not the name SHIZUKA itself.

In reeling, start from the size and capacity of the spool. A larger number does not automatically mean a better choice: it carries more capacity and often more weight. Compare the diameter and length of the fishing line with the distance and rig, then check the maximum drag and the gear ratio. The 7000 or 8000 reel for heavy tackle has a different role from the compact size 30 or 40.

The balance with the fishing rod is checked assembled. A heavy pulley on a light blank shifts the center back, and a too small spool can limit the capacity and feed of a fishing line. SK5 and SK8 have variants with different weight, drag and ratio, so compare the exact code of the particular model carefully. Do not carry a single-size feature to the entire series.

With SHIZUKA rods, the difference is even greater. The SH direct telescope is in lengths 3-5 m and casting weight 20-40 g, while SHIZUKA 1400 is a two-section spinning rod 2,70 m with test 10-40 g. The marine SH1600 is 4,20 m and 220 g. These numbers show why models are not interchangeable, even when they carry the same name.

Before ordering, record the exact technique, working range, transport length and desired line. In reel, check the capacity, drag and reserve spool only for the specific code. In the case of a fishing rod, conform the test to the actual total mass of the rig. After an outing, rinse and dry the salt water used near the water, inspect the guides and loosen the drag when stored. Do not replace the exact code with an approximate series name.

For comparison by purpose use Reels, Rods, Spinning Rods, Sea Rods and the Float Rods. Thus, each model remains in the correct technique.
