Product information

Filstar Venom SJ is an ultralight spinning rod designed for precise fishing with extremely lightweight lures. The 67XUL and 69XUL models have a 0.3–5 g casting weight and a Moderate-Fast action, providing excellent sensitivity and control when working the lure.

New series for Area fishing based on the Venom model, already well known on the market. The series is made to an exceptionally high standard and is suitable for the increasingly popular Area fishing style, including in our country. The 2.04 m size is more suitable for use with spoons, while the 2.10 m version is better suited to soft lures. The blank design of the FilStar Venom Area features a stylish X-weave and Fuji guides with titanium frames and Torzite rings. These rings are exceptionally strong while also being 40% smoother and lighter than SiC rings. The rings are very thin and reduce friction with the line. The rod features a Fuji reel seat and a two-piece handle made of AA-grade cork. The series comes in a black luxury neoprene case with Velcro fastening and a divider in the middle to separate the two sections from each other—providing good protection when storing this high-end fishing rod.
