Middy are pioneers when it comes to designing rods for modern anglers who visit commercial fisheries. The original 3G models, which were released more than ten years ago, were the first of their kind made in a two-piece folding structure with a softer casting weight to minimize freaks. Over the years  Carbon technology has advanced significantly, as we have seen with the updates to the 4G and 4GS models, each of which has won numerous awards for their quality. Now, with the assistance of some top anglers and engineers, Middy are perfecting these fishing rods  with another level to launch the new 5G range, which are built with Liquid Carbon technology, which provides flawless feeder operation, both in casting and fish removal. Ideally, a commercial feeder rod should be hard enough for precise casting, but also soft enough to avoid unwanted freaks. All these features are included in the 5G range, as well as many other unique design features. In every fishing rod 5G is a built-in handle A-Nomic, with a specially curved area of the reel holder to fit perfectly to the shape that naturally makes your hand when catching a fishing rod. These feeder fishing rods are equipped with S.F.A. K-type guides that improve casting and prevent the main fishing line from twisting. Especially pleasant to the touch is the special woven carbon area just above the reel holder, which provides you with a more stable support when squirting large fish.
