These folding Prorex boat nets from DAIWA are a favourite among anglers thanks to their remarkably low weight and strong, ultra-light 3k woven carbon blank. The folding mechanism significantly reduces the size for transport and storage. The rubberised mesh has 12mm side mesh for easier netting during drift or in current, while the bottom mesh is 8mm for better fish protection. The strap provides controlled functionality while netting. The L version (75x65cm) has a 3k woven carbon handle 120cm long and an engraved 80cm measure. The XL version measures 85x75cm, has an additional solid aluminium block and an extendable 3k woven carbon handle from 120cm to 145cm plus an engraved 80cm measure. The loop at the rear of the EVA handle prevents loss during netting. Thanks to its low weight and strong construction, this net solves the problem of handling huge landing nets that are inconvenient when you are alone on the water.
