J-Braid GRAND X8 is the upgraded version of the world-famous J-Braid X8. This version is created to give anglers an even greater advantage when fighting strong and large fish. What exactly is optimised in the GRAND version? It is completely versatile for use in fresh and salt water. Compared with J-Braid, the GRAND version has a denser fibre weave. This is achieved through an additional process during braid production. The increased braid density provides higher abrasion resistance, greater linear strength and better knot strength. In addition, GRAND is more supple and therefore quieter through the rod guides, while being slightly stiffer than standard J-Braid, reducing line twist and improving casting.

With these new advantages, you will achieve longer and more accurate casts, while also gaining extra strength when fighting trophy fish.
