The blank of FilStar Venom is made from Toray 46T+T1100 Japanese high-modulus carbon, offering a unique combination of stiffness and flexibility at an exceptionally small diameter. This means an unprecedented level of control during the strike, combined with long, powerful casting and excellent lure action. In terms of carbon-fiber strength, Toray T1100 is the best carbon offered by Toray to date. It is an excellent choice for building rods with light and medium actions. The blank design of FilStar Venom features a stylish X-braid and a hollow tip. In addition, we should mention the exceptionally light, high-quality titanium SeaGuide guides with RS-ring. A distinctive component of the FilStar Venom model is the Fuji DPS+Carbon reel seat. Contact with the blank is direct—carbon against carbon, without intermediate gaskets that dampen the vibrations transmitted through the blank. This enhances the rod’s sensitivity and allows even the most tentative bites to be detected. The design is completed with an AA cork handle, guaranteeing comfort and a secure grip. Despite its exceptionally low weight, Filstar Venom has enough power reserve to handle even the strongest predators. The model is supplied with a neoprene storage case.
