Jig heads specially made for perfectionist anglers in micro and mini ultra light jigging. They are made from tungsten, a material very different from lead. Its main advantage is that, due to its high density, it has a smaller volume than lead at the same weight. This makes the head practically half the size of a standard lead head, spooks suspicious fish much less, sinks faster and gives better sensitivity and “feel” of the tackle while fishing. In addition, tungsten is an extremely hard material and highly resistant to deformation. With prolonged use, the head will not get dented or deformed by contact with stones and rocks on the bottom.
Of course, all these qualities come at a price. This material is expensive in itself and especially difficult to process.
