The bream. I settled in the morning on the 12 sector, apparently not being visited recently and carefully trampled the tall grasses with the car, and then with a old pruning shears I spread the cut in the reeds. I decided that since we are still in spring time I would try to catch them as close as possible, according to the relief. After a thorough bottom study with 40 g lead weight, I found a clean spot between 29 and 32 m, like exactly 30 m. There were pebbles on the shore, and I know from experience that there are shells on this dam that cut the leaders. The depth was around 4-4.5 m.

  

  

Daiwa Tournament-S Feeder 3.30mt/40gr + DAIWA 24 NZON PLUS LT 5000 S-CP and main line Daiwa Tournament Sinking Feeder Braid 0.14mm. The rig was feeder gum, directly tied to the braided line swivel, stopper, rubber buffer bead, ready feeder gum rig (10 cm/6libres). Peak MTQ 0.75 oz. The set itself is very light and pleasant and is a pleasure to catch silvers with. The 1-vo gum mount helps a lot when you are fishing with braided line, fine leaders and small hooks, and also largely self-detects fish, because it has the ability to counter the tension.

  

For underpinning I used 10ft- Super Spod on Daiwa with reel Black Widow 25A and braided line Daiwa J-Braid x4 Yellow 0.21 mm. For distances up to 40 m, this set is great, lightweight, agile and very manoeuvrable if you need a constant top-up.

  

It seemed normal given that no one had ever visited the site to be nourished and the dam was not small in size as long as the fish were being oriented. The 11:30 h followed the 2 bites of decent platiks. And as they came and went, 30-40 min is still gone. Then it hit me that these fish probably are “orbiting“ somewhere above the bottom and I started mid-depth to “open up“ large baskets of heavy food to be poured down to the bottom to see if I was feeling the situation correctly. Luckily for me I was right, immediately the blots turned on the spot and fishing began to set in.

  

So, 15 gallons of food left for the trip. They were also capricious, best taken on the 18 and 0.10 mm Daiwa Tournament Fluorocarbon and strung 3-4 bloodwormssa. On a larger hook and bait they frowned tangibly and the bites was very slow. What was important for the trip was the correct assessment of the situation, then no loss of concentration and perfect rhythm. Baskets I used again my favorite Daiwa N’zon Window Feeders in size Medium – 30 gr, and the most successful length of the leader during the fishing was 80 cm. Chernogorovo once again turned out to be a dam with interesting fishing that definitely makes you think.

The food was very well moistened in order to be as heavy as possible to stand steady at the bottom, because during the day a stable headwind was expected, respectively, and a current. This food structure helped me a lot, in the situation where I had to open “to open the“ baskets in the middle of the depth and pour it straight to the bottom.
