Yesterday, with the boys from the team Nedyalko and Blago, we visited the Progress Reservoir.

We had reserved the 17th sector, the idea was for Blago and I to go for a method and Nedyalko to train next week for the classic feeder competition. It was quite a “working day for me“ as I couldn't wait to get a feel for what the new model feeder rods from Daiwa - Spectron Ultra Distance Feeder.

I put in the arsenal two such rods 3.90 m/180 g, equipped them with the new N’zon reel 25 QD Distance as for main line coiled 0.209 mm Daiwa Hyper Sensor Clear and Cone monofilament shock N’zon – 0.22 mm/0.30 mm.

I have mapped two points on 75 m and 100 m. At the far spot I fed with only a few methods, and the closer with a spline.

I admit I don't have the best casting technique like yesterday I took at least two hours to clear up mistakes etc, but eventually with normal pressure on the rod and even without knitting shock I managed to reach from 92 m to 100 m without my “dimming my“ hands. I was comfortable and fascinated by the behavior of the rod.

emphatically yes, quite a bit more power is felt in the form and the rod can be “pressing“ seriously. The “form is robbing“ very well and for the first time in a long time yesterday at Progress I had not a single crazy fish/from 12 caught/, of course this is not just due to the rod, but the picture is complex.

I took out 5 fishes weighing 6-8 kg and 7 fishes 1.5 – 3 kg, but generally more attention was paid to casting my technique.

All three lengths of the series are - 3.66, 3,96 m and 4.26 m are equipped with 3, 4 and 5 oz peaks 3.5 mm. I think the longest version is also suitable for classic feeder fishing on a river. But let the ban pass and it will be tested on the Maritsa River.
