It was an extremely difficult, dynamic and interesting competition, both from fishing and weather.

Thursday we fell with the team to practise in box 12/tailpipes from the start/. We had a fairly satisfactory training as we managed to clear not a few aspects of the fishing such as the main line, distances, length of the leader, bait and hooks. For that day I managed to catch about 6 kg mostly with the fishing of “ropes“.

mine was close 9 kg. We did the debriefing for the coming race days and started with the final preparation.

It became clear from the training that fish take very strongly and monofilament fishing line was my preferred choice. I did 2 fishing sets, walking for the 2's distances. For the short distance/27-30 m/I chose Daiwa Spectron Commercial Ultra Feeder 3.30mt/50gr – TDR3012 with 1 oz MTQ top and 0.24mm base fishing line Daiwa Tournament ST. For the distance of the ropes I preferred a more powerful tackle Daiwa Airity X-Slim Feeder 3.60mt/70gr – Daiwa Tournament 4010QD – 1.5oz MTQBG peak. And the big chop started. Apparently, due to absolute windlessness and sunny weather, the fishes rose high and rarely came down attracted by bait and food. I managed to keep up a good pace by turning the distances the constant I picked up on 1-2-3 crucian carp.
