The DAIWA Pro Staff series was created in close cooperation with DAIWA-sponsored anglers Nils Gabsa, Marten Laciny, Adrian Prus, Sebastian Bischof, Horst Hennings, Tim Jaschke, and Marcel Asbroek.
The experts spent many hours on the water during development, testing numerous prototypes until perfect specialized rods were designed! The action of the blanks, the components and technologies used, and design details such as handle length were specially developed for experts in perch/zander fishing, vertical fishing, pelagic fishing, or pike fishing with large lures. To meet the needs of our sponsored anglers, many of DAIWA's best technologies were incorporated.
HVF Nanoplus carbon fiber material enables the construction of very light, slim, fast, and - at the same time - extremely elastic blanks. Thanks to the addition of nanoparticles, the already small amount of resin is reduced even further. The blanks have become even faster and lighter!
The X45 carbon fiber construction results in improved blank compression thanks to the special positioning of the carbon fibers - the blanks are highly resistant to twisting, allow more precise casts, and can be controlled perfectly during the fight and lure presentation. In addition, the rods have greater resistance to damage. V-Joint technology means an exclusively developed BIAS layer of carbon fiber in the spigot joints, manufactured by DAIWA. This special material makes this normally sensitive part of the rod very strong while also improving the bending curve.
We paid particular attention to the rod's balance - the handle design, the selection of premium, very lightweight Fuji Alconite K guides, and the materials used together provide the rods with perfect balance and allow comfortable fishing for hours.
The Pro Staff Pelagic is equipped with a very strong blank and spirally arranged guides. Large and heavy soft lures can be presented perfectly, while the special guide positioning prevents the line from tangling around the tip guide in strong wind and waves - allowing you to target pelagic fish quickly and precisely! The 1+1 blank construction offers additional stability and a perfect bending curve even under extreme loads.
