The Spin and Baitcast series of the Prorex AGS range meet the highest quality requirements. Prorex AGS rods include almost all the highlights of modern and exclusive rod manufacturing technologies from DAIWA Japan. These fishing rods impress with very low weight, perfect balance and very fast, sensitive and hard form. The range offers various specialized fishing rods to meet the latest technical requirements of modern fishing with artificial lures and provide the perfect tool for this. The SVF Nanoplus material creates optimal blank resistance through the use of Nanoplus technology (the resin content of the blank) and therefore the total weight can be reduced to a minimum while improving the strength and resistance of the blanks. The blank instantly transmits any movement of the lure to the palm, and you will be able to realize even very timid and delicate bites. Construction X45 minimizes the twisting of the form to a minimum and will improve the distance and accuracy of the cast. V-Joint spigot improves the bending curve and thus provides very uniform bending under load. Another outstanding highlight in this series of fishing rods are the exclusive DAIWA AGS guides made of carbon fiber. These guides are significantly lighter than conventional guides and impressively improve the action and sensitivity of the fishing rods. The AGS rods feature extremely fast build and extreme sensitivity. The Air Sensor reel is very comfortable, thanks to its ergonomic shape, thus you do not get tired regardless of the length of the fishing outing. The Finesse, Chebujig, Jigspin, Sensor Jig and the rods with casting weight up to 42 g have a carbon fiber rear handle for even better sensitivity.
With the four baitcast models of the Prorex AGS series, the DAIWA covers the most important areas of modern BC fishing. Finesse Baitcast with casting weight up to 14 g easily casts all the usual smaller mounts and fine lures, but also excellent leads and small solid lures. The 80g and 120g models are specifically designed for pike fishing with large XL soft lures with shallow mounts and jig heads and offer a slightly longer rear handle for ease of operation. The tip is well loaded during cast, and the hard and powerful spine maintains the perfect hitch. The 32g casting weight model is ideal for fishing white fish and pelagic fish when fishing shallow with slightly smaller and lighter lures.
