Prorex AGS rods incorporate almost all the highlights of modern and exceptional rod-manufacturing technologies from DAIWA Japan. These rods impress with their very low weight, perfect balance, and very fast, sensitive, and stiff blank. The range offers various specialized rods to meet the latest technical requirements of modern lure fishing and provide the perfect tool for the job. SVF Nanoplus material creates optimum blank resilience - through the use of Nanoplus technology (the resin content in the blank), the overall weight can therefore be reduced to a minimum while the strength and resilience of the blanks are improved at the same time. The blank instantly transmits every movement of the lure to your palm, allowing you to detect even very timid and delicate bites. X45 construction minimizes blank twisting and improves casting distance and accuracy. The V-Joint spigot improves the bending curve and thus ensures very even bending under load. Another outstanding feature of this rod series is the exclusive DAIWA AGS carbon guides. These guides are significantly lighter than conventional guides and impressively improve the action and sensitivity of the rods. AGS rods are characterized by an extremely fast action and exceptional sensitivity. The Air Sensor reel seat is very comfortable thanks to its ergonomic shape, so you will not become tired regardless of the length of your fishing trip. The Finesse, Chebujig, Jigspin, and Sensor Jig models, as well as the rods with a casting weight of up to 42 g, feature a carbon rear grip for even better sensitivity.
With the four baitcast models in the Prorex AGS series, DAIWA covers the most important areas of modern BC fishing. The Finesse Baitcast, with a casting weight of up to 14 g, easily casts all common smaller rigs and finesse lures, while also handling small hard lures excellently. The 80g and 120g models are specially designed for pike fishing with large XL soft lures on shallow rigs and jig heads, and offer a slightly longer rear grip for easier handling. The tip loads well during casting, while the stiff and powerful backbone supports the perfect hook set. The 32g model is ideal for fishing for zander and pelagic fish in shallow water with slightly smaller and lighter lures.
