Daiwa 23 Exceler LT – the next generation – with Airdrive design!
Thanks to the new lightweight Airdrive rotor, the initial resistance when reeling in has been reduced. The reel's overall weight has been reduced by lightening the front section, shifting the balance toward the rear of the reel. This results in better balance with the rod, improved sensitivity, and better casting performance. The reel body is made of Zaion V material, which prevents body distortion, while the Tough Digigear gearing ensures consistently smooth operation. The new Airdrive bail is lighter than before, yet ultimately extremely strong and significantly reduces the risk of tangles during casting. The ATD Type-L drag system ensures smooth and optimized line release without initial resistance, providing the necessary security when fighting a large fish. The Longcast ABS aluminum spool features a special edge that contributes to longer casting distances. The Twistbuster III design of the bail roller is ideal for use with braided lines - it does not compress the line during retrieval, while twisting is kept to a minimum. The CNC-machined aluminum handle is screwed firmly into the body, providing direct contact with no play.
