DAIWA left-hand multiplier reel designed for Norway and tropical areas!
Saltiga 15L offers DAIWA's latest multiplier reel technologies. The development goal was to provide smooth operation by improving balance, lightness and durability. The body is equipped with a special thumb-holding frame design to keep the reel perfectly balanced. The Hyper Drive Design concept provides incredible winding power and durability. The machined Hyper Drive Digigear improves power transmission thanks to the larger gear teeth. The aluminium Hyper Armed Housing holds the gear twist-resistant inside the body, while the Hyper Tough Clutch stays in place even during hard casts. Hyper Double Support uses two ball bearings on each side of the gear to achieve perfect power transfer from the handle.
To prevent corrosion, a protective anode is installed inside the body. The waterproof ATD drag provides smooth line release under load and makes fishing with thin lines easier. It features a star drag with clicking sound. For winding heavy loads, the handle length can be reduced from 85 mm to 75 mm. A perfect reel for light jigging and fishing for saithe, cod and halibut in Norway.
