J-Braid GRAND X8 is the upgraded version of the world-famous J-Braid X8. This version was created to give the angler an even greater advantage when fighting strong and large fish. What exactly has been optimised in the GRAND version? It is completely versatile for use in freshwater and saltwater. Compared with J-Braid, the GRAND version has a denser braid of the fibres. This is achieved through an additional process during line production. The increased braid density gives higher wear resistance, greater linear strength and greater knot strength. In addition, GRAND is more flexible and therefore quieter when passing through rod guides, while being slightly stiffer than the standard J-Braid, which reduces line twist and improves casting.

With these new advantages you will achieve longer and more accurate casts, while also having extra strength when fighting trophy specimens.
