The DAIWA Pro Staff series was developed in close cooperation with DAIWA sponsored anglers - Nils Gabsa, Marten Laciny, Adrian Prus, Sebastian Bischof, Horst Hennings, Tim Jaschke and Marcel Asbroek.
The experts spent many hours on the water during development, testing numerous prototypes until the perfect specialized rods were created! The action of the blanks, the components, technologies and construction details such as handle length were specifically designed for experts in perch/zander fishing, vertical fishing, pelagic fishing or pike fishing with large lures. To meet the needs of our sponsored anglers, many of DAIWA's best technologies were included.
The HVF Nanoplus carbon fiber material allows the construction of very light, slim, fast and, at the same time, extremely elastic blanks. Thanks to the addition of nanoparticles, the already low amount of resin has been reduced even further. The blanks became even faster and lighter!
The X45 carbon fiber construction results in improved blank compression thanks to the special positioning of the carbon fibers - the blanks are highly resistant to twisting, allow more accurate casts and can be controlled perfectly during the fight and lure presentation. The rods also gain greater resistance to damage. V-Joint technology means an exclusively developed BIAS carbon fiber layer in the spigot joints, produced by DAIWA. This special material makes this normally sensitive part of the rod very strong while also improving the bending curve.
We paid special attention to the balance of the rod - the handle construction, the selection of premium, very light Fuji Alconite K guides and the materials used together provide the perfect feel of the rods and allow easy fishing for hours.
Specialized rods for kayak, boat and SUP fishing. Boat fishing has become increasingly popular over the last few years. DAIWA has already developed a specialized high-end rod series with exceptional features for fishing from small craft such as kayaks, canoes and SUPs. The Yak&Belly rods are specially equipped with extremely short rear handles for easy use and handling. The light, slim and extremely fast blanks offer perfect sensitivity and large power reserves. The overall length of 2.15 m or 2.25 m is specifically designed for close-range work. An exclusive, freely rotating DAIWA metal ring with an opening on the handle offers additional security, as the rods can easily be attached to your boat with a safety cord if needed. As an additional safety option, a safety line can be attached to the tapered aluminum ring in the middle of the handle. This Pro Staff series covers the most important fishing methods and target species such as pike, zander and perch. So you can have such a special boat rod with you when travelling, the four-piece 2.25 m model offers the same characteristics for fishing in fresh and salt water.
