The DAIWA Pro Staff series was created in close cooperation with DAIWA-sponsored anglers - Nils Gabsa, Marten Laciny, Adrian Prus, Sebastian Bischof, Horst Hennings, Tim Jaschke and Marcel Asbroek.
The experts spent many hours on the water during development, testing numerous prototypes until perfectly specialised rods were constructed! The action of the blanks, the components used, the technologies and construction details such as handle length have been specially designed for specialists in perch/zander fishing, vertical fishing, pelagic fishing or pike fishing with large lures. To meet the needs of our sponsored anglers, many of DAIWA's best technologies were included.
HVF Nanoplus carbon fibre material allows the construction of very light, slim, fast and, at the same time, extremely elastic blanks. Thanks to the addition of nanoparticles, the already small amount of resin has been reduced even further. The blanks have become even faster and lighter!
The X45 carbon fibre construction leads to improved blank compression thanks to the special positioning of the carbon fibres - the blanks are highly resistant to twisting, allow more accurate casts and can be controlled perfectly during the fight and lure presentation. In addition, the rods gain greater resistance against damage. V-Joint technology means an exclusively developed BIAS carbon fibre layer in the spigot joints, produced by DAIWA. This special material makes this normally sensitive part of the rod very strong and at the same time improves the bending curve.
We paid special attention to the balance of the rod - the handle construction, the selection of premium, very light Fuji Alconite K guides and the materials used together provide the perfect feel of the rods and allow easy fishing for hours.
DAIWA Pro Staff Zander rods are made for both soft-lure and hard-lure fishing, whether you fish from the bank or from a boat. Casting performance and contact with the lure are exceptional! The rod with a casting weight up to 42 g is intended for fishing with medium lures in weak currents or still, respectively shallow waters, while the Power Zander model can cast lures up to 70 g effortlessly and can be used in strong current or deeper water.
