The Daiwa Gekkabijin series originated from the world of short-distance small lure fishing. Today, the ultra-light and almost "supernatural" lures allow anglers to experiment with nearly every type of fish and endless techniques. Using a combination of High Volume Fibre and Braiding X, this series of four rods offers a progressive action and covers practically every approach in this fishing style. The two LRF models, each 2.34m long, are available with a choice of a hollow tip (T) or a solid tip (S), covering a range from just 1 gram up to 8 g and 10 g respectively. The rods themselves weigh under 100 g! For casting lures or working weighted weedless silicone baits among weeds and shoreline vegetation, the HRF versions offer casting actions from 5–20 g and 7–28 g. All models are equipped with Fuji K guides made of stainless steel with O-Ring inserts and an ultra-light Fuji SK reel seat. This design not only reduces the rod’s weight but also enhances sensitivity and control during use.
