Daiwa ’23 Airity LT combines all the components of the new concept Airdrive design, featuring extremely smooth and trouble-free operation. The milled gear has been treated with special technology for an even smoother and softer stroke.
Thanks to Airdrive gear, axle friction is reduced to a minimum, and the result is a comprinably smooth and completely silent reel stroke.
The Monocoque magnesium body design allows the use of more powerful gears that distinctly increase the power of the reel and extend its life. The body resistant to any distortions takes care of the safety of the mechanism and the permanent smooth running of the reel.
New Airdrive rotor reduces weight in the front of the reel, thus improving the balance between the rod and the reel.
The result is significantly improved control in casting and in retrieve the lures. Due to its reduced weight, the rotor starts even faster, allowing the angler to react instantly to any situation.
New Airdrive bigel, represents an evolutionary step in the creation of the reel, it is lighter than all other bigel created by engineers of Daiwa so far, but it is just as robust and reliable.
The thickness of the wall of the new Airdrive spools have been reduced to further reduce the weight of the reel and improve the balance relative to the rod. The retrieve roll at the bail is a generation Twistbuster III, as this technology prevents any twists of the base fishing line, especially when using braided lines.
The Magsealed design prevents water and dirt from penetrating the reel housing, a particularly useful technology affecting all anglers who practice sea fishing.
