FAQ

What type of fishing is the Filstar Amarant UL Spin designed for?

Amarant is a series for ultralight spinning with light lures. It offers three versions that differ in length, casting weight and transport length.

What casting weights are available for the Amarant UL Spin?

The models are 1.80 m / 0.6–8 g, 1.95 m / 1–8 g and 2.10 m / 2–10 g. Choose according to the lures you actually use most often.

What is the action of the Amarant?

All three versions are designated as Moderate. This describes how the rod bends under load and is a separate characteristic from the lure-weight range in grams.

How much do the rods in the series weigh?

The weights are 72 g for 1.80 m, 74 g for 1.95 m and 76 g for 2.10 m. With such light tackle, also pay attention to the balance with the reel.

What are the transport lengths?

The transport length is 0.95 m, 1.02 m or 1.09 m respectively for the three lengths. Choose a case based on this size, with sufficient protection for the fine tip.

What guides and reel seat does the Amarant use?

The series has seven single-leg guides and a lightweight reel seat with a carbon fitting. The blank is made of carbon.
