Venom SJ - Sea & Jig is the new addition to the saltwater jigging segment of the Filstar Venom rod series, already synonymous with uncompromising quality. Following the success of the first Venom models, Filstar's experts decided to expand the range and cover additional disciplines such as saltwater jigging and trout area fishing, selecting the best-suited components and taking advantage of the latest technologies in the industry. The Toray high-modulus nanocarbon blank, stylish EVA handle, and Seaguide titanium guides make the SJ an exceptional fishing tool for both saltwater and freshwater. The Toray Nano Carbon blank offers a unique combination of stiffness and flexibility at an exceptionally small diameter, allowing you to benefit from an unprecedented level of control when striking, combined with perfect casting and excellent lure action. The high-quality Seaguide RSolution Titanium guides are fully resistant to the effects of saltwater, while their larger diameter prevents them from freezing in low temperatures. A distinctive component is the Fuji DPS+Carbo+ reel seat, where the contact with the blank is direct—carbon on carbon—with no intermediate pads to dampen the vibrations transmitted through the blank. This enhances the rod's sensitivity, allowing even the most tentative bites to be detected. The appearance of the Venom SJ is impressive, with detailed X Woven braiding featuring a Shiny effect on the blank and a stylish combination of black and contrasting white lettering. The series comes in a luxurious neoprene case with Velcro fastening and a divider in the middle to separate the two sections.
