A firm favourite with anglers in the UK and Europe on both commercial and natural venues, this versatile groundbait can be used in many different ways.
It is produced by grinding green Koi pellets to a fine, even consistency. Because of its fine particle size, it can be mixed to become quite sticky, ideal for Method feeder while still breaking down easily. It can also be mixed a little drier, creating the perfect mix for skimmers or F1 in shallow water, because it creates a fine spread of particles that fish will settle over and feed on without becoming overfed. It is good for all types of larger fish, but has gained a particularly strong following among bream anglers.
Dai Gribble (top angler) says: “Supercrush Green is the best groundbait for bream. It forms the base of my mix because of its strong fish smell and the right colour for attracting big bream. I mix it with chopped worm and fish it with feeder baskets.”
Mixing instructions:
The groundbait Supercrush Green is easy to mix. Empty the 2 kg pack of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a container with approximately 1 litre of water, pour it over the groundbait and mix well, then leave it to stand for 30 minutes while the water is absorbed into the mix. For best results, to remove any lumps and create an even consistency, pass the groundbait through a sieve and it is ready to use.
When fishing, sun and wind can dry the groundbait slightly. To prevent this, you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel, or if it dries out, simply add a little more water with a spray bottle and mix again.
