1st place team Plovdiv 2020 Me and my teammate Blagoy Valchev 1 nt/54.280 kg.

Hello, yesterday my teammate Blagoy Valchev persuaded me (not to go alone) to take part in the method feeder race under the scheme “two in one box“, which took place at the Progress fishery near Dimitrovgrad. The weather forecast was, to put it mildly, scandalous for a brutal side wind, but it is bad weather that is preventing only those who are not determined.  

In the morning of the draw I reached into the bag and pulled the 4 sector, which is in the deep part of the dam. We settled with Blago in the sector, set the distances and food and agreed not to make heavy, but to check the distances and find out where the fish are. In this crazy sidewind that was at times probably passing 15 m/s we decided that it would be wise to look for the fishes between 45 and 60 m because the exact casting farther away was an absolute mirage. We used heavy feeders on 70/80 gr for accurate casting and for fast stretching of the abdomen, and to squeeze the heavy current. A problem was also a lot of garbage that floated on the water, but somehow we also dealt with them with more attention when picking up the tackle or playing fish. The other thing that helped us a lot and being almost 100% in the bites coverage was the use of braided line as a base line in these conditions. In general, we found the fish at the aforementioned distance, which we constantly looked for them with on 1,2,3 meters forward or backward. We were going at a decent pace and had a 2 good series with a few fishes each, finally winning the sector and tournament with 54.280 kg, a perfect contrite for me on this successful year.
