The new VDE Feeder Coarse range was developed to offer feeder anglers a complete selection of high-quality products. As the name of the groundbait suggests, the mix is extremely suitable for feeder or float fishing. During the testing phase the product quickly proved itself as a versatile mix, both in terms of catches and use. Feeder Coarse performs very well in both slower and faster waters. The groundbait itself also contains coarser particles, which helps target larger specimens because this type of mix activates faster than fine groundbaits. If you decide the mix is too coarse for your purpose, you can very easily grind the larger particles or sieve them out. If you sieve them out, you can soak them in a separate container and, once softened, crush them and add them back into the mix. During testing, large bonus fish were recorded regularly, which gives extra confidence while fishing. You can moisten your mix in 3 stages to give it enough time to absorb water.
Suggestions for successful combinations:
- 1 part Feeder Coarse, 1 part G5 and 1 packet Bream Caramel
(If there are different species of fish, you can add vanilla for flavour instead of caramel)
- 1 part Feeder Coarse, 1 part Record Sweet and 1 packet Bream Caramel
(Record Sweet binds well and makes the mix ideal for fishing long and deep distances)
